Let me get this straight. You are training a fighting dog? If you’re talking about retrieval and tracking, I’d start ASAP, but the muzzle fighting thing…unless you are a police officer, is that not a bit much for a pet?

Talk with the peole in your rea who handle the Shutzhund training they should be able to point you in the right direction.
And at 9 months your dog should already be training.

All we need is another mean dog…
Just to let me know if your dog gets loose, and goes after me and my family, I will kill it.

Just like the last time you asked, you are proving that you are in no way qualified to train a protection dog. Please do not do it. You have NO IDEA what you are doing or you would NEVER ask such questions. Your dog is already fearful of people (as per your last question) He has FAILED the behavioal pre-test because of this and should NOT be trained as a protection dog. Service dogs, expecially those working in police or protection fields are HEAVILY screened BEFORE training begins… you can’t take a random pup and train it for protection, that’s just not how the system works…
If you really want him trained, go to a professional… missing what seems like a small nuance can turn your ‘executive protection’ dog into a man killer.
You have not trained Schutzhund or KNPV dogs or you would not be so ignorant to ask these questions. Please don’t do it. Nobody that has the training to answer your questions would ever answer you anyway, they know better…

my view is if your dog is treated well by you and the family if you need protecting it will protect you when it needs too!!! does not need to be trained up.
