Canine Chiropractic Relieved Resolving Pekingese’s Muscle Spasm Problem With Pet Chiropractic
Dogs March 6th, 2010Friday evening, my Pekingese, Clyde began limping late after the vet we had been seeing for several years closed for the weekend. With the intention of checking on Clyde’s condition on the next morning, I tucked him in for the evening, which somehow helped before deciding whether to visit the emergency vet clinic. Since the rates were so out of sight compared to our regular vet, I tried to avoid the emergency clinic in town. Animal Chiropractic
Clyde got better but not 100% on Saturday morning. Taking care to hold pressure on trigger points until the I could feel the muscles relax, I spent some time massaging him again. I didn’t worry too much since Clyde seemed calm.
But early Monday morning, Clyde’s muscles tightened up again and then he threw up a thick white substance that truly alarmed me. While typing keyword phrases into a search engine and started looking for clues about what might be wrong, I held his tiny body close. Since the name “Dr. Ava Frick” and “Ava Frick, DVM” kept popping in the engine search results, I visited her web site and called her clinic.
We arrived at Dr. Frick’s clinic in Union, Missouri, and her staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Her staff gave me the quick impression that they cared about their patients, the same as Dr. Frick does. After taking Clyde’s complete medical history, Dr.Frick conducted an examination to determine what might be wrong. She commenced canine chiropractic treatments immediately and then made next schedules for succeeding treatments.
Most importantly, Clyde’s treatment made him relaxed and comfortable. Although I had never heard of the concept of using chiropractic techniques on animals, I am so glad that I found someone who knew exactly how to solve Clyde’s pain.
My little boy would need a few more chiropractic visits to keep this condition from becoming chronic, but Dr. Frick said that we had made it through the rough part. Dog Joint Pain
